I'm trying out a Barry M dazzle dust today (colour 44) mixed in with a little gold eyeshadow on top of Too Faced Shadow insurance to see how long it lasts.

So here's a close up of the old eyeball and then the overall look.

I really like how gold looks on blue eyes. Also, you are not white! At least not as white as you said you were in the questionnaire.

I think I'm a lot paler than you are, but it could be that you're indoors. Under terrible lighting, I can look 'tan' too Lmao

Tee hee, I am indoors and under terrible lighting!
I've just come back for a long holiday so I manage to still have a bit of colour about me. I do have to bronze up though but I've given up fighting against the pale skin and just going with it.

Very nice your eyes pop with that colour. And you don't look white at all! Even if you did I think white skin is very beautiful, I curse myself for tanning easily!

I love Barry M products. I was talking to someone who used to work in Camden in the 80s (bit of a cult goth) and Barry Mero used to give her freebies. Heh, imagine.

Thanks folks. Think I will wear this look again.
I do like Barry M products (love the nail polish, lasts forever without chipping and there is a fantastic gray colour I love) but stayed away from the dazzle dust as they seemed to fall off my face within a short space of time. Revisiting them as thinking perhaps I wasn't using the right primer. The 44 shade is my favourite though. Stayed on really well the other night as well.
And as for the free products, Yes please!

Hi,

I love this look. I'm new to Barry M dazzle dusts but I bought a few of them last week, 39, 44 and 71. I had quite a problem with fallout initially but I found that making sure that my brush was slightly damp helped the colour to stick. To make sure my eyes didn't get irriated I used eye drops.

I suppose it's a bit like when you foil MAC pigments but it's just enough to make the loose powder stick to the brush.

HTH.

Sian

PS forgot to say that the dust stays on really well even without a primer - tried it today, 10 hours in and still looking good.

Dazzle dusts are lovely - 10 hours without a primer. Can't complain at that! Very Happy The price is great too. I've only got a few of the dazzle dusts but am completely addicted to the nail paint. I don't tend to buy many other brands of nail polish now. Love the colours and they last really well without a top coat.

There's this brilliant Barry M nail varnish. Clear with big bits of glitter in it. It's so cool on top of alternating and pink fingers.

I love barry M too, some of the colours are so unusual and their coral pink is the only coral colour that I can use on my eyes without them looking sore! I tried using MAC paradisco but that didn't work very well.
Can I just recommend collections 2000's 'Dazzle Me' dusts. They're brilliant. There is one called mystery which is almost exactly like MACs 'Deep Blue Green' pigment, but it's only £2.49!! They're great. Even if some of the colours are crap then they're so cheap, you wouldn't mind!

Razz Hi, if you press the barrym dusts into your brush that helps prevent too much fall out, same with all loose pigments, try pressing the brush into the inside of the lid . ps i love the aqua gold, and collection 2000 dazzle me are great!
