I was just wondering how well a face primer would keep oily skin at bay? Floating

Try and get your hands on a Photo Finish Primer Light tester from Smashbox.

Try out a lot of brands, different skins react diffferently to products.

Thanks! Just one more question...where do they sell Smashbox? Do they sell in stores or just online? I'm from the UK Smile

I think they sell Smashbox in certain stores in the UK, I'm not sure. I order it from eleven.se (a swedish website). I know QVC sells smashbox... but for UK sellers you should ask someone from the UK.

I'm on the hunt for smashbox in the UK too (I want the cream eye liner palette). I've tried searching the net and come up with a gazillion answers. Some people have said House of Fraser sold them but I checked their website and they don't have them down as one of the brand of make up they carry.
Lewis's website doesn't seem to have them anymore either. Crying or Very sad
Everywhere I seem to search just leads me to online buying. Buying directly from Smashbox online has an added $53 shipping fee. I will continue the hunt so if i do eventually find something I will let you know.

Try via www.eleven.se, it's a swedish website. Shipping isn't very expensive and no customs because you're in Europe.

I think I will have to end up ordering online. Shame as I really would like to have a feel for the product before buying. Thanks for the website info, will check it out.

n my opinion, By Terry makes the most amazing primers, but they are very pricey. My favorites are Mauve de Nuit and Melon Rosé....They swindle imperfections just perfectly, and Melon Rosé is just perfect alone for a bridal make up.

Shiseido has a very good one also, a white one.

Marilyn, I have oily/combination skin and Shiseido's Pre-Makeup Cream does wonders for me, especially paired with Chanel Mat Lumiere. It definitely helps control oil and the SPF 15 has never caused breakouts, as has been the unfortunate case for me with most products with sunscreen.

Thanks fr everyone else's replies. They have been helpful! xx Flirty
