if there is SPF in that foundation, then thats why its going white.

I don't know of any way to stop it going white, except not using flash photography.

Or using a foundation with no spf if you will be using flash photography.

Make sure that if you're using loose powder it's transluscent.

I quite like the pale look, so NYC's loose powder is good for me, so avoid that at all costs!

Have you tried mixing your foundation up with a tinted moisturiser?

I've got absolutely the same problem!! And I haven't found the way out yet.

All I can do is use warming filter in Photoshop on my face or add shadows. Besides, the proprer optical exposure settings of camera help too, but it depends on camera model.

if you're using a mac shade, make sure you use a yellow toned foundation to even out the pinky tones that flash photography brings out in your skin. So a NC shade would be better than a NW shade - this is important for bridal make up etc.
Also, stay away from anything illuminating or with a heavy sheen as this won't photograph well either - sam talks about it in her blog with examples and everything so have a look. There is a link to her blog on the home page i think

hope this helps.
