Filling my first MAC palette Empty
PostSubject: Filling my first MAC palette   Filling my first MAC palette EmptyMon Aug 03, 2009 12:35 pm

Hi everyone! I just bought my first MAC Pro palette - the 15-pan one, and I am trying to fill it up. I bought Club, Shale (green eyes here!) and the LE Grand Entrance. All seem very versatile and likely to work on a range of skin tones. Since I am new to MAC, which other shadows would you recommend I get to fill my first palette? Mind you, it's the first of many, I'm sure! Discuss.

My favourites (green eyes as well) (somes are LE, some not):
Top Hat, Plumage, Bitter, Tempting, Beauty Marked, Antiqued, Cranberry, Signed Sealed, All That Glitters, Honey Lust, Satin taupe, Vex, Swiss Chocolate, Brun satin, Smoke&Diamonds...

since u have green eyes, may i suggest the color Mulch. it is a rich velvetty brown with a satin finish (i think). the red undertones IMO wil make your green eyes POP! good luck Smile

I like my neutrals so I think you definitely should get:
-Brulee - it's the most gorgeous base colour, satin finish.
-Typographic - it's dark, but not as dark as black so it's good for deepening colour a little
-Carbon - soooo versatile
-Tempting - gorgeous dark, rich brown
-Woodwinked - frosty goldy-brown colour, it's my favourite colour, ever! Very Happy
-Satin Taupe - gorgeous taupe-y, mushroom-y colour
-Ricepaper - I like highlighting the inner corners of my eyes and i usually like using frosty whites, but if I don't want too dramatic of a highligh, I use ricepaper, it's perfect Smile
