i was wondering if teasing your hair is bad on the hair itself.

Thanks

Jesse:

If you're into teasing but are worried about damaging your hair, make yourself a rat: Get a cheap hair extension, tease it up a bit, put it inside an invisible hairnet. Pin at the crown of your head under a bit of your hair. Then just arrange your hair on top of it. {spray, pin, etc.}

Make the rat in proportion to the lift you want to achieve. You know, if you want to rock an Amy W. beehive, you'd need a huge rat. But for just a normal little sixties action going on, nothing extremely large.

I totally agree with Brigitte here, a rat is the easiest way to get extreme lift without having to worry about damaging hair.

Thanks for the really great idea about making a rat. I had never heard about that. I have some extensions I don't use and now I know what to do with them!

i'm not really into teasing, but sometimes, for special occasions i do a funky teased look.

thanks for the idea about the rat. i think that would really help. i'll have to try it

Thanks
