Following a tutorial

This is my result of 1920-s make-up. Eyebrows were the most difficult to do for me

The colours used are absolutely perfect. Brilliant job. Could you turn one of the photos black and white perhaps?

Actually, I didn't buy anything special for this look, I used what I found in my cosmetics bag. These are things I use everyday but the thing is that I used technique described in tutorial.

Ball powder of Ivory color
Blusher Still Adorable Rouge #1 Sheer Pink
Lipstick Lumene #214 Tears of Joy ( don't know whether they are discontiniued or not)


DollyV, I tried to turn photos black and white but It seemed to me, the ones that in color looked better, like in Agatha Chrisie's Poirot TV-series

Oh yes there really is a Poirot element to the look! The hair is right for the look too.

This would actually look gorgeous with some vintage wear as well, bit of fur (or faux) tossed over the shoulder, brilliant stuff!

Edit: Wow the black and white version didn't show up before. It still really really works. There's something so hazy about the really dark eyes in black and white. Wonderful!

I would love to wear this look out for some 1920-s party, but as far as I know all we have in our city at the moment are retro parties of 1940-50s. Maybe they'll organize it one day and this look will suite!

Drew Barrymore at a recent premiere is wearing a very similar 1920s makeup. Gorgeous vintage style dress and veil too. It really reminded me of your look, even the hairstyle.
